There is no God like Jehovah

Deuteronomy 4:7 - For what great nation is there, that hath a god so nigh unto them, as Jehovah our God is whensoever we call upon him?

The name Jehovah is actually a name coined like the word God which is used in place of Divine One (OT) or Theo / Deity (NT). The 4 Hebrew constants JHWH which were none pronounceable since it did not have vowels, therefore vowels were added to it and the name Jehovah came into existence.

Since long man was not aware of what the name JHWH meant, it was of late some have come to know. One may know old languages like Hebrew and also the Egyptians used alphabets which were also ideograms, meaning the alphabets symbolized an object, or action, or understanding.

The alphabets JHWH by its ideogram mean "BEHOLD-THE HAND-BEHOLD-THE NAIL". So we see that it was the Lord Jesus Christ before He became man was referred to as JHWH.

From the start of Creation we see the Lord the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit were actively involved with man. It was this reason that Jesus boldly referred to Himself many a time as 'I AM' a term used for Jehovah. In the Gospel of John it clearly shows Jesus came from the Father and literately means He was in the Father and was declared as an identity by Himself. That is why He was not created yet existed and therefore we have scriptures like He was from the beginning yet the Father is greater than Him, He and the Father are one even though He humbled Himself and came as man, if you have seen or known Jesus you have known the Father even though we cannot imagine to come before the Father in our corrupt being (since Son and Spirit humbled their selves therefore we can come before Them - Son came as man and His Spirit as the Seven Spirits - like light refracts into 7 primary colours).

Jesus as man was born through the power of the Holy Spirit so in many scriptures He also refers to the Holy Spirit as Father. The Spirit of the Father and the Spirit of the Son is the same yet are addressed a Being by Himself. It is only by the context of the scripture we understand whom Jesus refers to as Father, the Holy Spirit or the Heavenly Father (Who separated Himself in the beginning when darkness came).

When I had to go to minister to a sick Muslim, I was told by the Lord he would accept Christ and be saved. Now I was in a fix unless I give him the Gospel how will he be saved, and the most difficult part for a Muslim was to understand the Godhead - 3 Beings yet 1. Then the Lord put a thought in my mind to take my daughters play dough and using it to explain him and his family this understanding. I went to his house and using the play dough I explained the concept which they call Trinity, and he and his family did understand it.

Today's message tells us our God is different from other gods for no one has a god as great as ours. Now this is not the main factor for all gods are manmade, made out of the imagination of man. But yet the Bible says they are not greater than our God implying they exist for the fallen angels take active part behind these gods and show them as existing.

The Bible says our God is always with us. JHWH was with us before He came as man and now, even though He is in Heaven yet His Spirit is with us. Being with us does not mean like a man is with another. God is omnipresent so He is everywhere, what it means is He is active with us, working amongst us, in us and His as His work manifests His glory will also manifest.

Let us as a nation coming together and showing the working of the Lord in us, thus letting His presence be manifested to the world and He be glorified.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, You were always with us even though many a times we did not acknowledge You, You did not forsake us. When darkness came into existence due to the revolt of a third of the Angels who went against your Light, You could have easily crushed the Angels and eliminated the darkness, but You created insignificant man to overcome the mighty Angels through your working in him. Lord, we know through your Word the great plans You have for us and we await the great day when we will overcome darkness and be married into You and be Light for You are Light...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
