Did or did not Jesus know the end?

Luke 21:10-12
10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.

There are the Muslims who state Jesus was not God because He said He did not know when the end would come. If He was God then He should have known it.

Then there are the Christians who state that the end would come suddenly because Jesus stated it would come like a thief and that He too did not know when it would come, so most of them get into full time end-time-ministry they walk looking up thinking Jesus would come anytime on a cloud.

In today's message we see Jesus actually answering the people about the end times. He gives in a summary in Luke 21:8-28 of the fall of events before the end would come. So He was not ignorant of the end times. The same with Paul when he found the church of Thessalonians panicking thinking the end was near, Paul writes to them in his second letter of the turn of events that will confirm the end is at hand.

We need to note both Jesus and Paul do not give an accurate period of the end. They both conclude with an approximate period.

When Jesus said that He had no knowledge of end and that only the Father in Heaven knew, He did not means He was ignorant of the end. We need to read the scripture correctly and we see Jesus states He did not know the HOUR but did not say He did not know the DAY. Both Jesus and Paul knew the DAY but both had no idea of the HOUR, nor do the Angels have an idea of the HOUR, leaving for God alone. Does that make Jesus not a God? No.

Firstly we need to remember Jesus was man, God who humbled Himself and came as man. He was 100percent man and therefore John states anyone who does not believe Jesus came in the flesh is from Satan. Coming in the flesh meaning He came as 100percent man without any God powers. It says He HUMBLED Himself. Therefore if He had retained any of His God powers then Bible would have been a lie when stating God humbled Himself in the beginning of creations and became a sacrifice for mankind. He was not a God man nor was He God in man but was God who came as man. He gave up His glory but not His nature for in Him was the image of God.

The powers that Jesus shows in scriptures were not God powers but the powers which man has been given when He is in God. That means we all can have the same power which Jesus showed, provided we are as obedient to God as Jesus. Even the resurrection of Jesus was because of the power of the Holy Spirit. This power was not exercised in Hell but exercised here on earth when Jesus was alive and the results manifested in Hell. It was by the power of the Holy Spirit that Jesus was kept without sin and when He went to Hell with the sins of the world on Him, He could not be kept there because there was no sin in Him, thus He broke the curse of Hell and resurrected (came up), therefore anyone who believes in Him is also set free (saved) from the curse (irrespective that person keeps the Word of God or not). But that person can only go to Heaven on Judgment Day if he or she has kept the Word revealed to him or her by the Holy Spirit (also kept with the help of the Holy Spirit). That is the reason both baptisms are a must to enter Heaven.

There is a great difference between Son of God and God the Son. The second is a deity and the first could be an Angel or even a human who has the image of God in him. Adam was created with the image therefore was referred to as Son of God before he sinned and lost the image. Jesus was the first man to retail the image unto death. That is why He became our first overcomer.

All that Jesus knew was from scriptures for He studied them as any other human. He did have a unique element of all having all the calling in Him, unlike us who have only one calling, the reason being, callings are to do with the 7 Spirits of the Holy Spirit and in Jesus the Holy Spirit was in full.

What Jesus and Paul knew of the end is what is revealed in scriptures. For the scriptures are the Word of God and even the Angles refer to the Word of God as Words of Life. That means in them is all about life and when study deeper we see everything about life is in them. The only thing not revealed in scriptures is the exact time when the end would come, but the approximate time is given. The approximate is given not in 1 place but in many places and they all confirm the same.

God made us as children of light not to walk in darkness as blind people. We are not called to walk with our heads facing up 24 hours a day waiting when Jesus would come, when Jesus would come. God has given us the signs and told us when these signs come to pass then we would know that the hour has come. Jesus also states not one scripture can be omitted before the end come. Since this is the Word of Life it has to come to pass completely before the end come and the Word turns to God fulfilled.

Jesus in the same scripture where He says no man or Angel knows the day AND hour of the end also states the end would be like that of Noah. He was referring to the time when he was told to make an ark. Noah worked for nearly 100 years making it and when he completed it God told him to enter it and then the floods came. God had not caused the floods to come before Noah had not completed the ark nor let the floods to come until Noah, his family and the animals had entered the ark.

Also Jesus’ coming on a cloud does not mean a real cloud for it states all mankind will see Him coming along with His Angels. It says EVERY KNEE will bow unto Him when He proclaims Himself and is glorified by the Father. So let us stop looking up and walking, but spend time knowing Him so that it will not hurt us when He proclaims Himself.

Matthew 24:34-39
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

1 John 4:2-3
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

John 17:20-26
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-6
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
