Do not put God in your small world

John 11: 51, 52 - And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.

The biggest problem with most people not understanding scriptures is that they try to put God into their small world.

In today's message, all the chief priests and the Pharisees were of one mind concerning Jesus and the Jews but among them was one Caiaphas who was the high priest that year who really paid attention to the words which Jesus spoke. Although he did not believe in Jesus as Saviour yet he knew Jesus had not come only for the Jews but for all the children of God who were Jews and not Jews.

People take a few scriptures and make a world of these scriptures and all their conclusions are based on just those few scriptures. They lose the understanding of Who Jesus is and the Word of God because of these many small worlds they have created.

For example they will talk of the end of the world being at hand and at the same time talk of Jesus appearing as man and ruling the world for a thousand years and therefore talk of rapture happening when Jesus comes. I do not understand why people rapture when their King comes to rule? Does Jesus as man rule only the wicked if the people of God all disappear? What happens to Satan during these thousand years, is he dealt with before or locked up and again released at the end and then destroyed by Jesus and His Angels? Where does the beast and the false prophet picture in these events? Does the false prophet come before or after the thousand years?

In scriptures we read of the Lord rule which will be eternal so after the thousand years if it stops, it goes against scriptures. During these thousand years of rule scriptures talk of peace. If peace rules among the evil people who are left behind after the rapture do they become Christians or still deny Christ and yet have peace? If they become Christians, do they too rapture at the end of the thousand years? Scriptures do not talk about a second rapture. If not are they left at the mercy of Satan and his army for the 3 and half years of great destruction which scriptures talk of. When do Christians become sons of God in all this? Paul talks about creation coming in obedience to man when he becomes a son of God.

We have denominations because man has made many of these small worlds and the confusion comes when they try to patch them together.

Jesus though born a Jew was the first person to openly speak against the Jews. He is God and Saviour not of the Jews alone but of the whole world. We are not children of God out of heredity but out of promise, we inherit due to promise.

People do not realize the people who follow Judaism actually consider Jesus as a false prophet and believe He is in hell suffering for the blasphemes He committed. On the other hand Muslims respect Jesus as a prophet and even given Him an important role in the end days of destroying the Mahdi (the evil one similar to the false prophet in the Bible). But in all this they have created a fictitious Jesus contrary to the Bible so as to not prove the teachings of their prophet wrong.

Let us understand although the Bible has origins in the Middle East yet it has to do with the whole of creation and it is to do with the whole of mankind throughout generations.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, man is far from You and suffers because he does not know You. Lord, we pray You help us circumcise our hearts that we may come near your Throne of mercy and be healed in our hearts. As we surrender ourselves open our minds and bring us to know You...

John 11:47-54
47 Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles.
48 If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.
49 And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,
50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.
51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;
52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.
54 Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.

Revelation 20:1-15
1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
