You are called to lead

Exodus 33:12 - ...I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.

The Lord selects some of us for higher purposes in life other than just living this earthly life. Like Moses there are some among us who are called to step out of our habitat and to lead the people of the Lord unto Him. Moses lived a life of a prince and did not even dream of what he would be called to do. So also we who are called may be very comfortable in our worldly lives, until one day the Lord speaks to us and asks us to step out of our daily routine to preach the Good News unto his people and to lead them unto Him.

How do we know we are one of those called? If you are called, you will have experienced the grace of God; that will be the confirmation of your calling for service unto the Lord.

Let us pause and look back in our lives and see if we have experienced that grace; let us open our hearts to hear the calling of the Lord to serve Him.

Lord, You speak unto your select people to lead like You called Moses. This is proved by the grace You shower on them. In these You select many of Moses, Davids, John the Baptist, Pauls, Peters etc... Lord, if You are calling me unto your service let there be silence in my heart so that I can hear your voice and follow. I ask this in Jesus Christ, Amen.

12 And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.
