Rejoice!

Philippians 4:4 - Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

It is very easy to rejoice when things are good, but when things are bad then it is just impossible to even think about rejoicing. So how is this scripture possible?

Let me put this situation as an example to give a better understanding.

Let us say you have been cornered in an alley by a thug with a weapon in hand. He threaten you and wants to rob you, he may even hurt you. In this situation one will not think of rejoicing or even smiling.

But now we change the scene, behind him you see a large team of cops coming to your rescue, now will you smile? Surely you will be very glad.

The Word of God is written and everything that is written in it has to happen, period. If you are given a Word by the Lord then nothing can change, no man or any spirit power; it has to happen. So when you open your spiritual eyes and see it coming, then you will receive the strength to smile even in your worst situation.

[ Prayer Starter ]

Father God, You are true and every Word spoken by You is true. We thank You Lord for the Word You have given us, that guide us and strengthens us to smile even in the worst situations. For You will not let us be destroyed, but deliver us and prosper us. I make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Isaiah 40:29-31
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
