Fear not Og, God has delivered him into our hands

Numbers 21:33 - And they turned and went up by the way of Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan went out against them, he, and all his people, to the battle at Edrei.

The exodus of the Israelites in the wilderness gives us a lot to understand of our spiritual walk in this world i.e. if we study about the two exceptional kings Sihon and Og, whom the Israelites encountered and who are referred to many a times, we would be able to understand Satan (plural). The Bible tells us about the Beast (young lion) and the Dragon (serpent), the beast gets his power from the dragon who is bonded in the endless pit (Hell) and although not being there but yet his rule abides. The book of Ezekiel calls them as Prince of Tyre and King of Tyre respectively.

Most Christian not being aware of this, try to fight the dragon / Lucifer who actually is not with us but is bounded in Hell. Bible says he will be released in the end (just after the rapture when the two witnessed ascend along with some others) and after his release the Lord Jesus Christ will come as man / Arch Angel with His Angels (who also are spirit men, those who overcame /elect and part of the first resurrection and rapture) and will destroy Satan and his spiritual army (fallen angels) and his earthly army. They will be put in the Lake of Fire / Sulphur where their suffering will be worse than Hell. The battle will not be something like what we see in movies but an instant short like blowing a ultimate nuclear bomb, for the Lord Jesus Christ and His Angels will appear and with a shout would reveal His Name (Who He Is / His authority) and Bible says this world would cease to exist and every knee will bow / soul will surrender (including the evil souls) to the shout of the Lord.

People being ignorant of the Beast are ignorant of his ways and thus become victims to his mark. This character (Sihon) does not have power like his master (Og) but rules in his namesake. He does not desire to be god in Heaven but over all mankind therefore all religions (leaving for Christianity) worships him. He / it comes as male or female in various religions but can be identified for its tricks are exposed in the Bible. That is why not a soul of his kingdom was spared, including women and children not even the cattle of his kingdom (which represent different kinds of spirits).

The Hebrew word Edrei in today's message means 'goodly pastures' it refers to the Promised Land that is Heaven.

Understand the Heavenly beings like the Cherubs and Angels are part of the Body of God the Son and when Lucifer (a Cherub), the Beast (one of the other Cherubs) and their angels (each Cherub has an army of Angels under them) revolted against the plans of God, darkness came. So God created us humans who are lower than the Angels to overcome this darkness by the knowledge of His Truth/Word.

Today the Lord is telling us not to fear Satan (both Og and Sihon and their army) for the Lord has delivered them unto us. All we need to do is be in the Army of the Lord for the victory is already declared by the Lord. And when the All Knowing God declares anything, nothing and nobody can change it.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Father God your Word is lamp unto our feet and light unto our path. It shows us not only how we should live our earthly lives but also shows us things which are hidden from human eyes, it teaches us about the spirit world. Lord, we pray your Word be revealed more and more unto your people that they may see the hidden things and discern them; that they may be saved from the mark of the Beast. Lord keeps our hearts anchored unto You so that we remain in your Army and enter into the Promised Land so as to dwell with You for eternity...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

5 On this side Jordan, in the land of Moab, began Moses to declare this law, saying,
6 The LORD our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount:
7 Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates.
8 Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them.

Joshua 12:1-5
1 Now these are the kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land on the other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:
2 Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the river, and from half Gilead, even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;
3 And from the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea on the east, the way to Bethjeshimoth; and from the south, under Ashdothpisgah:
4 And the coast of Og king of Bashan, which was of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,
5 And reigned in mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.
