Know the Word and yourself

Hebrew 1:1,2 - God, having of old time spoken unto the fathers in the prophets by divers portions and in divers manners, hath at the end of these days spoken unto us in his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds;


Most Christians lack faith, all because we do not know the Word. The letter to the Hebrews was written basically to build the faith of those who were shaken. Therefore the letter firstly confirms that the Bible is not man's word but God's Word given by various means unto man over a long period of time. This Word delivery was completed in Jesus Christ on the Mount of Olives.

The Bible is like a library by its self. It holds the books which is the core Word and also books which explain the Word, books which show us how to apply the Word and also holds books which are testimonies and historic records of the Word being fulfilled. All theses together are an authenticated collection not by man but by the Holy Spirit; although man was instrument in its delivery and bringing it together, yet it is the work of the Holy Spirit.

Like the Bible so also the letter to the Hebrews starts with confirming the worlds were created by God through the Son and the purpose of the worlds is the Son.

It does not say world but worlds. It speaks not only of the human world but also the Angelic world. We need to understand the Heavenly world is to do with Lord the Son of God and the human world is to do with Christ, Who in turn are the same.

In the end when the purpose of the second world - the human world is fulfilled in the first world - the Angelic world, then the purpose of both will be fulfilled in the Son of God (which is the Heavenly marriage).

We as Christians should not be like others not knowing the purpose God created us and what is in store for us after this short life span in this flesh. We should get into us that our lives are not just the life we live on earth in this body. We are beings of spirit and soul, bounded in this flesh for the purpose of overcoming the curse of the flesh. Our ultimate home is in the Son of God being in Him.

Lord, You are our creator. You created us not for entertainment or for destruction. You have a purpose for us and that is to be blessed in You. You have made available great and awesome things for us beyond man's imagination, even the Angels are in awe of them and how we will receive it. Since You are as Christ our Head nothing can stop us from receiving. You came and finished your task as man on earth, now we pray your Spirit finishes the task in us...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Revelation 21:2,3
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others. (All rights are with God)
