Sleep problems! - It takes a lot of courage to sleep

Psalms 3:5 - I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.

When the Psalmist is referring to sleep, he is not referring to our rest when we close our eyes in the night. He is referring to our rest during the day, when we are working, traveling, talking to people, doing our daily activities.

Our heart (mind) is constantly anxious due to the situation surrounding us. And in these times to sleep requires a lot of faith and courage. Only when we have a real good relation with the Lord can we lie down and sleep. For by faith we know at the right time will the Lord wake us and bless us and during this time nothing disastrous will happen to us.

So I invite you brethren to have faith in the Lord and showing courage, sleep.

[ Prayer Starter ]

Lord, it is very difficult to be at peace when trouble surrounds me. Lord teach me to rest in You, help me build my faith so that anxiety does not tire me and become an hindrance at the time of blessing. I ask this in Jesus' Name, Amen.
