God is just in all his ways

Revelation 2:25 - But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.

As we study the Word of God deeper, we get more revelations and understanding of the Word. This understanding helps us increase our faith. In the Old days everybody did not have the resources and understanding of the Word (the Bible came into the hands of the people only in the 15th century), it was with an elect few. Since mass communications was not good, the few who knew remained few.

Today we have good mass communication network in place and therefore are able to build each other as the Lord teaches us. Does that mean the people of the pass will loose compare to us? No

Our God is very merciful and understanding (wise and just). He judges us according to what we have received and build, and not based on what we have not received. Remember the parable of talents Matthew 25:14-33.

Every understanding of the Word of God we received can be good or bad for us.
Good: If we receive it and use it to build us or prosper us.
Bad: If we reject it or ignore it; for by this we bring more condemnation on ourselves.

So as we receive either hold on to it or better still increase what we have received.

[ Prayer Starter ]

Lord God, You are merciful and gracious. But your righteousness will not allow evil to stand before You. Lord, as we receive from You help us to grow in You to be more of You...

This we ask in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Revelation 2:25-28
25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
28 And I will give him the morning star.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
