Jesus the Peacemaker
Ephesians 2:14 - For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
The lack of understanding of this scripture and many other scriptures where Jesus has been projected as a peacemaker has many people compromising their standing in the Lord and doing things as unbelievers. The Bible does tell us to live in peace with others who are not believers, but in no place does it says to compromise with God for man, in fact it warns against it many places.
Jesus always showed love but when He needed to rebuke He did. He always refrained from rebuking unless it was really necessary. Jesus made peace between God and man by His sacrifice and made peace between man and man by bringing them towards Himself.
Make peace with people of other faiths; do not go to them but bring them to Jesus. Used all those qualities that Jesus has given you: kindness, love, self-sacrifice, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, power of the Holy Spirit etc...
Show Jesus in you and break the walls of partitions. Any person who believes in Jesus is automatically one of our brethrens.
[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord Jesus, You came in this world to show us the way and to be an example for us. Help me to follow you and to be an instrument to bring others to You, especially the non-believers. I make this prayer in your mighty Name, Amen.
