Is your altar ready?
Exodus 20:24 - An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.
If you go back to the messages for the pass 10 days you will find connection in what the Lord is telling is.
I would like to summarize it all in this message.
The root of all this is about light and the obstruction to light (darkness). Each one of us has to overcome an area of darkness is our lives; it may be our pride, lust, greed, deceit, stubbornness, rebelliousness etc...
God knows everything and at every moment is aware of every matter. He is everywhere and is in control of everything. He knows what He is doing. When He created us, He put a something special in us according to His plan and He wants to see that materialize in us. We may have great ideas and desires but we can not claim to know more than God or even a fraction of his wisdom. So instead of struggling with what we want, let us manifest his power in us by abiding to what He wants of us.
To see that glory of God in us we need to first sanctify ourselves, for we are his temple. There should be no perverseness of any kind in us. If so, we should repent and call on to Him through Jesus Christ and He will cleanse us by His sacrifice of His Son; and by His Spirit lead us and mold us, thus redeem us and bring us unto Him.
In His Son where all the sacrifices which were need for healing in every area of our lives, making us worthy to know His Name and receive all the blessings as children of Abraham.
Thus making us His Holy altar.
[ Prayer Starter ]
Father God, You are Holy and glorious. You want to manifest your glory in us. Help us Lord to sanctify ourselves as your altar so that we can experience your glory. That others may see your glory in us, know You and give praises unto You...
This we ask in Jesus' Name,Amen.
|The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
