Concerning Kedar and kingdoms of Hazor

Jeremiah 49:28,29,30 - Concerning Kedar, and concerning the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon shall smite, thus saith the LORD; Arise ye, go up to Kedar, and spoil the men of the east. Their tents and their flocks shall they take away: they shall take to themselves their curtains, and all their vessels, and their camels; and they shall cry unto them, Fear is on every side. Flee, get you far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the LORD; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath conceived a purpose against you


Since a week a sister had asked me for a guidance to help her decide if she should stay back in the Middle East or return to India. Twice I asked the Lord for the message on this matter, the first time it was a blank nothing, and the second time I received the message continue fasting, praying and thanking God.

Yesterday I was lead to fast and pray for her (and for other matters too) and today I received this message.

Why am I sharing this with you?

This message may also be for others who in their hearts may be thinking on the same matter.

Today's message is a prophecy of doom and destruction part of which is fulfilled and part will happen soon.

Kedar was the son of Ishmael, therefore points to the Ishmaelite whom we also call Muslims. Babylon means confusion, in the Bible points towards the confused Christians, those who called themselves Christians but did not know God. The Word of God came through Jeremiah about the conflict that was to take place and is now past between the Muslims and the early Christians (Catholic Church) and history is testimony of this prophecy.

Hazor means castle and was also name of a place in Arabia. Together it speaks of the castles of the Arabic which today is the Middle East. Understand also that Babylon was the center of learning during the times of Jeremiah. The first research and development center in history were started here in Babylon. If we take that in aspect today it points to the West as the political Babylon. The message for us today is that the King of Babylon is forming a plan which will lead to the destruction of Hazor. The glory and prosperity of Hazor will soon come to ruins and monsters (terrorist) will dwell in them.

Lord, You love your people dearly. Even when they were not totally witnessing You yet You spoke to them and guided them. You, in your mercy and grace warned them again and again. Lord, as You speak unto us let your people hear your voice and be saved...

28 Concerning Kedar, and concerning the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon shall smite, thus saith the LORD; Arise ye, go up to Kedar, and spoil the men of the east.

30 Flee, get you far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the LORD; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath conceived a purpose against you.
31 Arise, get you up unto the wealthy nation, that dwelleth without care, saith the LORD, which have neither gates nor bars, which dwell alone.
32 And their camels shall be a booty, and the multitude of their cattle a spoil: and I will scatter into all winds them that are in the utmost corners; and I will bring their calamity from all sides thereof, saith the LORD.
33 And Hazor shall be a dwelling for dragons [monsters], and a desolation for ever: there shall no man abide there, nor any son of man dwell in it.
