Forgive one another

James 5:16 - Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.

When we confess to one another, who does the forgiveness? It is we who forgive the sins of another brother or sister.

Do we have the right to do this? NO. Only God can forgive sins.

Yet, we do have the right for forgive sins because of Jesus. When we are His disciples we inherit the right to forgive sins in God's Name due to our Blood relation with Jesus.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

When we forgive another, it is not we who forgive but it is God who forgives, we are just the medium.

People think forgetting is forgiving. Forgiving is not to do with us and the person but with God and the person and we are just the instrument. Un-forgiveness is a wall we create to deprive others of God's mercy, when they sin against God and hurt us. We should not hold God's mercy to that person, if we do so, we too will be deprived of God's mercy. Therefore people, who do not forgive sometimes, experience physical and spiritual sickness. Forgiveness is only given to people who repent not to those who are hard in heart.

When people get rid of un-forgiveness many have seen instant healings in their bodies. Do not build walls to deprive others of God's mercy, for your own sake.

[ Prayer Starter ]

Father God, You are a merciful God, You are the Father of mercy. I thank You for your forgiveness of sins through Christ Jesus. I ask You Lord to bring to my mind any people who I have deprived of your mercy, so that I can forgive the person and prayer for the person. In Jesus' Name I make this prayer, Amen.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
