Rejecting the Messenger

Romans 9: 1-3

1 I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,
2 That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.
3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:

I like to once again confirm about how I get the message of the day so that people remove the concept that I search for scriptures connecting events.

When I sit to write I pray over the Bible asking the Lord for a message for the day and open any page and place my finger on any scripture on that page. I have found this works with me every time I need a message from the Lord because I have the understanding of the Urim and Thummim (it was by this the twelfth Apostle was also selected) the objects which were in breast plate of judgment (Exodus 28:30).

In today's we have Paul who is trying very hard to convince the Romans that he speaks the truth and shows how he is disturbed by them rejecting him.

People when they accuse a person bring the truth are not actually targeting the person but actually the message. They do not want to accept the message and since the message is the Word of God and unshaken they target the person who brings the message. The message may not be a prophetic message but just an understanding of scriptures; it still is a message like in the case of Paul.

You need to understand people have different callings and according to their calling the Lord works in them. Being blessed as a Teacher the Lord reveals the understanding of His scriptures (only a Teacher will tell you what he/she goes through in life as the Lord teaches, it is for that reason James warned not to be too happy being called a Teacher), but that does not mean the Teacher knows everything.

If one understanding of the 7 Spirits of the Holy Spirit then one will understand that each one has a part to play in receiving, delivering and applying the message into the body of Christ.

Yesterday I was to send a message but could not and it was connected to feeling rich in spirit or having.

Having possessions is not wrong but being rich is. One should realize that everything is God given and we are just managers of all these. It may be money, people, ability (also called talents), skills, ministry, or even knowledge of the Kingdom of God.

It was sad when I heard a head of a ministry claiming the people working in his ministry were his employees. No ministry or church is any person's but the Lord's for all provisions are from the Lord. All work for the Lord and for His plans for mankind so that we all receive it in our lives and Jesus Christ is His plan in our lives.

Just some weeks back a Pastor instructed another Pastor not allowed me to preach among his congregation because he did not agree with my understanding on some matters. Even though the people of his congregation were being blessed with the understanding, the leaders had to abide with their human boss. I did feel sad and cried to the Lord and He gave me a message reminding me He is the purpose for whom I work and He also told me to uses His shame on the crucifix as an example to abide by in my life.

A preacher righty said pruning happens only to branches which grow.

Also being humble does not mean acting like a fool. The Word says from the Wise flows words of knowledge and wisdom. Jesus humbled Himself as a perfect example but He did speak and was also thought to be mad and demon possessed but that did not stop Him.

If God has blessed you, you use it to bless others with it, but always understand we all work with one purpose, which is Christ.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord Jesus, You showed how to be humble by You coming as mere man and by the shame You bore on the crucifix for us. Lord, remind us always the purpose that we work for in your Kingdom. Lord, strengthen us and build us in You. We pray for all those who work for You and are persecuted because of your message...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

8 That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
