The finish matters

Philippians 2:16 - Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

However big sacrifice we may do in life and however many people we may be instrument to save, but there is no garranty of us being saved on the Day of Judgment, which is also called the Day of Christ. The day when Christ comes in Glory, He will judge all believers from Noah till the last day of creation. It is from these that He will separate his sheeps from the goats.

To those whom the Word is revaeled, have to hold on to the Word. Knowing the Word has a plus and minus point. The plus point is; the Word becomes an instrument to help us overcome our flesh and to enrich more in the Kingdom of God but the minus point is that the very same Word when rejected calls for more stern judgment on us.

Since we are nearing the Day of Christ, the Spirit of Truth is revealing more of the Word to His people. This calls for more responsibility on the people to hold on to the Truth.

Your Spirit which dewells in me reveals the Truth and also gives me the strength to hold on to the Truth. I ask Lord that I always surrender to your Spirit so that I may be saved on the Judgment day, when You come in Glory. I make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
