The Lord is preparing His people

Psalms 96:10 - Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.


I pointed out before we have many translations because the Hebrew and Greek languages are very rich languages and it sometimes becomes very difficult to a Greek or Hebrew word in one or two English words. Today's message I would substitute the words with the other English word that very Hebrew word has been translated in the Bible i.e. the word translated as 'heathen' in this scripture has been translated as 'nations' more times (374 times) than as 'heathen' (143 times).

Why am I doing this?
For by this the scripture gives a different depth and a message for us today in our time.

Psalms 96:10 - Say among the nations [heathen] that the LORD is king [reigneth]: the habitable part [world] also shall be prepared [established] that it shall not be shaken [moved]: he shall contend with [judge] the people equally [righteously].

In Matthew 24:7 and Luke 21:10-11 Jesus spoke of times after the invasions / occupation by nations of other nations and after the world wars would be a time which we are experiencing. He spoke of these times as having famines, sickness spreading like plaque and of earthquakes throughout the world.

In recent times we have seen many new diseases highly contagious in nature. We also have seen one nation accusing another nation of consuming more food and I do not have to point out about the earthquakes.

In today's message the Lord says that this is necessary to do the actual shaking of the people - His people. The Lord wants to wake His people up; He is no longer going to wait for us to change our minds and turn to Him. He is now going from passive mode to active mode, He is going to make us make our decisions faster, to turn to Him or reject Him.

He hates those who are lukewarm for they spoil His Name. Either, truly be His people, glorify Him and live forever with Him or not His people, content living this short earthly life and die the spiritual death thereafter.

Lord God, You love your people and do not want to see them perish. Your patience is not carelessness. You are concern of your people and sometimes use ways to wake them up. Lord we pray for all your people that they turn to You soon and do not anger You...
