God uses drip irrigation

Psalm 69:13
But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.

Some days back at one of my classes I was teaching Psalm 104 in depth and we learned something very beautiful in verse 13

Psalm 104:13 - He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

The actual meaning of the verse is

Psalm 104:13 - He irrigates the mountain [symbolizing Truth] from his dwelling place: the nations are satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

It literally shows how God builds us and brings us to the knowledge of His Truth, the Lord compares this process to a farmer who nurtures a plant.

Water, light, air and soil (nutrients) are must for any plant to grow. Soil in which we are rooted in is the Fruits of the Holy Spirit like love, faith etc, air is His Spirit, light His mercy and water the knowledge of His Truth. Although every farmer loves his plants, no farmer pours lots of water over the plant thinking it would grow faster. Every farmer knows if there is too much water and roots not strong the plant will get destroyed. If a plant dwells near a river and if its roots are not spread well and the soil loose then that plant can be uprooted by the flow of water. The very thing that gives it life can cause it to be destroyed.

God in His wisdom knowing man, did not reveal His Truth fully to man; He knew with the state of the heart of man the knowledge of His Truth could destroy man. That is why over the hundreds of years God has been revealing slowly the things hidden from man and at the same time has been building man to be in a state to receive it. It is not that there have been people between this time period who did not have great understanding of the Kingdom of God, they did, but God also saw that man did not understand these people and hardened the hearts (hardened further that which was hard in the first place) of the people around so that they heard or saw and did not understand.

God is telling us since we are not strongly rooted in the Fruits of the Holy Spirit therefore the Lord took caution with us as He reveals the knowledge and understanding of His Kingdom. One thing I have seen in life, people may look very nice on the outside, may be doing great work for the Kingdom of God and having great anointing yet God seeing their hearts and hides things from them, but then there would be some who may be making mistakes and even falling at times but yet God values their hearts very much and therefore opens the windows of Heaven to them according to their calling. Understand when the Lord says His Word will judge us on Judgment Day, that means according to the understanding we have in us we will be Judged. Therefore the more we come to the knowledge of the Truth the more we are expected to walk in the ways of the Lord.

God is telling us if we desire to know more about God and His Kingdom let us change our hearts and root ourselves strongly to the Fruits of the Holy Spirit and once we are rooted firmly then we will see streams of knowledge and understanding coming our way.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, You are a loving God who primarily desires to save your people. By your wisdom You release and hold back things from man. You know even the things that are good can be cause for destruction if not given in right proportion according to the state of that person. Lord we pray not that You open the windows of Heaven to us but pray You change our hearts so that the windows of Heaven would be open to us...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Jeremiah 5:21-24
21 'Hear this now, O foolish people, Without understanding, Who have eyes and see not, And who have ears and hear not:
22 Do you not fear Me?' says the LORD. 'Will you not tremble at My presence, Who have placed the sand as the bound of the sea, By a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass beyond it? And though its waves toss to and fro, Yet they cannot prevail; Though they roar, yet they cannot pass over it.
23 But this people has a defiant and rebellious heart; They have revolted and departed.
24 They do not say in their heart, "Let us now fear the LORD our God, Who gives rain, both the former and the latter, in its season. He reserves for us the appointed weeks of the harvest."

Psalms 115:1-8
1 Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, But to Your name give glory, Because of Your mercy, Because of Your truth.
2 Why should the Gentiles say, "So where is their God?"
3 But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases.
4 Their idols are silver and gold, The work of men's hands.
5 They have mouths, but they do not speak; Eyes they have, but they do not see;
6 They have ears, but they do not hear; Noses they have, but they do not smell;
7 They have hands, but they do not handle; Feet they have, but they do not walk; Nor do they mutter through their throat.
8 Those who make them are like them; So is everyone who trusts in them.

2 Corinthians 12:5-7
5 Of such a one I will boast; yet of myself I will not boast, except in my infirmities.
6 For though I might desire to boast, I will not be a fool; for I will speak the truth. But I refrain, lest anyone should think of me above what he sees me to be or hears from me.
7 And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.

Hebrew 5:11-14; 6:1
11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

Philippians 3:15 - Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

Isaiah 30:18-22
18 Therefore the LORD will wait, that He may be gracious to you; And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; Blessed are all those who wait for Him.
19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem; You shall weep no more. He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry; When He hears it, He will answer you.
20 And though the Lord gives you The bread of adversity and the water of affliction, Yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore, But your eyes shall see your teachers.
21 Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way, walk in it," Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left.
22 You will also defile the covering of your graven images of silver, And the ornament of your molded images of gold. You will throw them away as an unclean thing; You will say to them, "Get away!"

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
