The Lord upholdeth and raiseth up

Psalms 145:14 - The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.

In our walk with the Lord we may fall a many times. In the start the frequency may be quite high but gradually it starts to decrease. One thing in our fall, we can always depend on the Lord to uphold us. He is such a loving and understanding God and Father to us. He will never want to see us down, although He may allow us to go through the experience, for our future. The characteristic of a true father can be seen in Him. He also rewards us when we humble ourselves. Been humble does not mean to think low of one's self. We belong to the highest esteemed family in all creation through Jesus Christ our brother, so why should we feel low. Being humble, means to help other members of the family by putting them ahead. When we do this our Father Himself will promote us in the family.

Father God, I thank You for being a loving Father for me. I also thank You, for the many times You have forgiven me when I fell. Strengthen me that I may not fall again. Father in all that I do, may You be glorified. I ask this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.
