Do you really know Jesus?

John 14:21 - He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

It is a very sad thing that most of the so called followers of Jesus Christ actually do not know their Master at all. Here I am not talking of just laymen and women but even some of those who have dedicated their lives to the Lord have very little knowledge of who Jesus is. I have even come across people who are referred to as men and women of God, who really do not know Jesus in basic truth. They do healings, deliverance etc... but when it comes to know Jesus Christ they are way, way behind.

Can one know Jesus Christ? - The answer is Yes and No.

By yourself you will never be able to know Jesus Christ. Unless you have been given an invitation, you will never be able to know Him. Accepting or rejecting that invitation is your choice. Knowing Jesus Christ is a process and everybody was and is at different stages, none have yet reached the finish.

I believe in Jesus Christ so how can I come to know Him more?

Believing in Jesus Christ and being a Christian does not mean that we know Him. We all are learning to know Jesus Christ and when we obey the Lord's Word, He reveals Himself more to us. It is only when we really know Jesus Christ in whole, will we be like Him.

Let us thirst to know Jesus Christ more everyday of our lives. And by knowing His Word and living it, be in anticipation for the revelation of Him.

[ Reference Scriptures ]
Acts 19:13-20
13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.
14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.
15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
17 And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.
18 And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds.
19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.
20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

Romans 8:18-19
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
