Do you see Jesus coming unto you?

John 1:29 - The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.


From today's message I will take only one word - coming.

The Hebrew and Greek languages are very rich in grammar and give deeper meanings of the sentences. The verb 'coming' used here has the TVM - (Tense, Voice, Mood) Present, Middle or Passive Deponent, Participle. The present tense used here is also known as 'historical present' tense. It means the object already existed. This same tense is also used in Genesis 1:16 for the Sun, Moon and Stars.

Genesis 1:15-18
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

In Genesis 1 there are two makes used - one which means to create from nothing and the other is to mold from something which already exist.

The word make used in verse 16 has historical present tense which means the Sun, Moon and Stars at this time were already existing but not visible (which science also claims due to very dense clouds on earth), and at this time was made visible from earth. Therefore it is not that the earth existed before the Sun, Moon and Stars like many people think the Bible says. There previous scripture says God created (made from nothing) the Heavens (Universe).

Even in today's message Jesus existed before He came on earth as man. He existed before man was created and He also existed before creation was created. Not only that, He existed before time was created. For it was by Him that all creations came into existence.

Jesus coming to you, means you coming to know more of Jesus. Jesus is already there even before you heard of Him. He is waiting for you to see Him and know of Him.

So do you see Jesus coming to you like John saw and unto him was revealed the Lamb of God?

Father God, You are revealed in your Son Jesus. It is by Lord Jesus I was created and it is for Jesus Christ I exist. Lord, help to know more of Jesus for unto Him do I exist. To be joined as a part of Him in your eternal plan for all mankind...
