To be a Christian

John 8:30-31 - As he spake these words, many believed on him. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

We cannot call ourselves Christians just because we believe in Jesus Christ. Changing from whatever nonsense belief we were in or the ignorance we were in does not make us Christian. To be a Christian one needs to continual keep the change process on. This process should continue till we become like Jesus (in nature, in character). Christianity is neither a title nor a religion, it is living like Christ. To help us in this process Jesus gave us His Spirit (the Holy Spirit).

Let us everyday ask ourselves - what change have I done today to become like Jesus?

Today what area of my life did I let the Holy Spirit work on?

Become a true Christian, become like Jesus. Imitate Him in all things you do and in all your thinking.

Lord Jesus, I thank You that You invited me to be your disciple. I pray that I truly become your disciple by becoming more like You. Helper help me to know Jesus better, manifest Him to me that in every area of my life with your help I may be like Him. I make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.
