There is none other than ME

Hosea 13:4 - Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.

Even when we have being or are in Egypt (in Hebrew means 'double standard' - which refers to our double standard of life, calling ourselves worshipers of the true God but still doubting Him) our God has not gone to sleep or gone on a holiday. He is present and aware of our every thought and our every action. Being a jealous God that He is, He will not to settle for anything less than what is due to Him.

The Lord can change us in a moment by showing us who He is, but due to His nature He does not manifest His power, because He wants us to be his willing sons. He does not want slaves but real sons to inherit His Kingdom. Therefore He delivers us from ourselves and our sinful nature. By this He, through us will crush the sting of Satan and head of evil forever.

Lord, You are God and there is none other than You. Forgive me for the times when I doubted You, by which unconsciously acknowledging there are other powers than You; there are other gods than You. You are God and omnipotent; nothing is not possible to You and to those who believe in You. Deliver me from my doubting nature that I may know You. I make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.
