Walking in Resurrection Power

Colossians 3:1-4 - If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Last time I raise the question about Water Baptism today the Lord wants us to give a thought to understand what being resurrected means.

One thing we understand is our being has three parts to it; the physical body, our spirit and inner man.

When we die our physical body dies and goes back to dust, our spirit and inner man remains alive. People think that our physical body comes back again when we are resurrected; to them I have a thought. Pity those who die in the old age or handicapped for they will have to live eternally with that body. Heaven will be a pitiful place with all the blessed people who lived a long life. If they think they get a renewed (young) body, then my question to them is who decides of what age is that body going to be. Will all opt for 18 years? Wow then Heaven be like a college campus!

Coming back to be serious; understand the Angels are spirit being yet they took form of any man, animal etc. Do not restrict the Heaven in our earthy minds; it is like putting the whole world in a carton box.

Till date, man has not got to define 'spirit' or conceptualize what it is. The Hebrew word 'ruwach' <0737> given in the Bible simple translates as:

AV-Spirit or spirit 232, wind 92, breath 27, side 6, mind 5, blast 4, vain 2, air 1, anger 1, cool 1, courage 1, misc 6; occurs 378 times in the Old Testament

The root of this word is <0736> which is translated as:

AV-smell 8, touch 1, quick understanding 1, accept 1; 11

In some places you will be surprised the Hebrew word 'owb' is translated as 'spirit' (familiar spirit) and this word literately means a hollow leather bottle.

<0178> 'owb
from the same as <01> (apparently through the idea of prattling a father's name); n m;
AV-familiar spirit( s) 16, bottles 1; 17

If you understand resurrection, you will acknowledge the resurrection power which we have received and walk with that resurrection power TODAY, not after you die, so that you will also appear with Jesus Christ when He comes in glory.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord God, You are Spirit and your Kingdom is not of this world. This world is a transition to filter your children from others unto your Kingdom. Lord open our minds that we may not try to virtualize your Kingdom in this body made of dust. Lord help us understand the power that is in our and to evoke this power in your mighty Name...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

19 He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.

Philippians 3:9-12
9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
