You have authority

Mark 4: 39 - And he awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.


We had an amazing Blazing Youth Revival and I like to thank all who prayed for the event and I ask our Lord to bless you and your families for doing so.

At the event what we prayed (desired) for did happen. The youth and the people of Daund were filled with the Holy Spirit and the glory of God was manifested awesomely in that place. The anointing was so much that the sound system and all other plans had to be stopped, for the people were soaking in the Holy Spirit for hours together. The Lord was not only working in the tent even outside the tent the security men who was hired and did know the Lord, were also renewed. Out of the 10-12 security personnel there were 7 who accepted Christ. Not only that the people of Daund were also affected; any person whom we gave the Gospel on the roads wanted to come to the event and accept Christ. It was just unbelievable.

All this did not start every smoothly, when I landed there with a part of team, we saw that it had rained there heavily the night before and it was still drizzling and there were many other problems adding to that. About the rain we got together and made a prayer, it was not a prayer of request which asked God to stop the rains, but it was more an instruction to the clouds to keep away from the event and the town. We only thanked God for the great event in advance. As expected it did not rain a drop till we finished our event and packed up. The sun was so strong that we had a problem with the heat. The night we finished it rained in that town.

Personally I have experienced many a times that I could speak to the rains without doubt (only for the glory of God) and it abided. Some years back when the Lord was teaching me about prayer for a whole season I had a personal remote control for the rains. Whenever I stepped out it would stop and as I entered into a cap or a building it would continue raining. When I shared this with my colleague who is a Hindu, he did not believe and so I demonstrated it to him before his own eyes and he was just speechless. I was in the car and it was raining heavily, we parked the car on the side and when I stepped out there was no rain, not a drop!

We need to understand when God created creation He gave man dominance over it. We lost this dominance because the image of God in us got corrupted. This creation has gone against man because of the curse of God on Adam. Now, Jesus by His sacrifice has broken the curse and by his Spirit made available to us once again this authority.

People wrongly think that man handed over this authority to Satan when man fell to his deceit. Satan is unnecessarily glorified and many things are attributed to him without proper understanding. Satan is called prince of the air and of this world; he is not the prince of creation. The word used for air specifies the lower air which symbolizes the spirits of the lower heavens. The word used for world does not mean earth but here it means government (the people who are lost).

As we come to know more and more the Lord, we will have more and more authority over this creation and all things; as was once given unto us in the beginning. The weather, the animals, the earth will not be against us but will be in harmony with us.

Lord God in your anger You cursed man and creation became our enemy. By your love and the sacrifice of your Son You have broken this curse and once again both peace into our lives. Today we have authority over all things You have given unto us. Help us Lord to understand and know all that You did as man is very much possible to us only if we believe in your salvation...
