The Truth is in the understanding

Psalms 145:18 - The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

When I first started reading the Bible it was like a history book about what happened years back. The feeling was; what good does this book hold for me today?

But since I had experienced the glory of God and knew there was something here that can change my life I continued reading. I finished almost one third of the Bible and then suddenly the Spirit of God started teaching me. And now this book which was in my hand no longer was a history book but became LIVING WORD breathing with life. The understanding of the Word made the change to me.

We are told by many to recite a scripture or pray a prayer over a period of time and we will receive. By speaking something, even if it is many times will never get us our promise quickly but by understanding what we say will.

The SPOKEN and WRITTEN Word of God should become the LIVING Word of God in us.

As a believer in Christ we are promised the Spirit of God - the Spirit of Truth; Who reveals the Kingdom of God unto us. So let us keep still and let us hear what the Spirit of God speaks unto us.


[ Prayer Starter ]

Father God, we thank You for your Spirit, we received through Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, You dwell in us, for we are the temple of God. Reveal to us the treasures of the Kingdom of God that we may mature and grow into sons of God.

This we ask in Jesus' Name, Amen.
