Please bear the labour pain

John 16:21,22 - A woman when she is in travail (giving birth) hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

Ask a mother even though she is aware of the pain she would go through before her delivery, she is excited because she wants to see her child in her arms.

What we are going through is written in the Word and no one can take it away. No doubt we can become like Elijah who was fed by ravens even when there was famine in the land only if we surrender and walk according to God's instructions.

Even when we are fighting ourselves we will not perish because we believe in our God, who is merciful. Once these difficult times are over there is going to come such times which the world has not seen. Where God's glory will shine like never before on His people, for this bare and rejoice like a mother in labor pain.

[ Prayer Starter ]

Father God, You have made us during great times. Times which are most important and when things will turn and when your glory will be seen in your people. Lord, build us and give us the strength to endure and be patient. Like Elijah nurture us through these times; until your rains begin to come. We ask this in Jesus' Name, Amen.

1 Kings 17:1-7
1 And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.
2 And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,
3 Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.
4 And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.
5 So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.
6 And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.
7 And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
