Stand firm in the Lord

Philippians 4:1b - .. stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

The Lord is very gracious with us and knowing us He helps build us and our faith in Him. We all are given a measure of faith, each one a different measure. But that is no excuse for us to have low faith, for what we make of it is the level of faith we possess. Faith can be built by just knowing God, for who He is, or by the testimonies of His work. Because we all are weak, we are given testimonies to prove that our God is God. By testimonies we learn to trust in God and that leads to build our faith. Trust comes from our experience and the experiences of others, and that leads to increase in faith.

So when we exercise our faith we experience God's glory and that helps to take our faith level higher. If we do not exercise our faith we will never grow. So let's exercise our faith everyday in the Lord and grow stronger, standing firm in His Word.

Father, You are my God and worthy of all praise. Bring me to know You better each day and to realize that You Word is done when I hear it. It may take time to manifest, but it has to come to existence. I ask this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.
