The whoredom of Aholibah

Ezekiel 23:11,12 - And when her sister Aholibah saw this, she was more corrupt in her inordinate love [lustfulness] than she, and in her whoredoms [corruption] more than her sister in her whoredoms [fornication]. She doted [lusted] upon the Assyrians [BEN] her neighbours, captains and rulers clothed most gorgeously [perfection], horsemen [scatter or spread] riding upon horses, all of them desirable young men.


In today's message I will concentrate on the healings of the woman with the issue of blood but we will today see how her problem got aggravated.

One thing I want to make clear in my previous mails and in today's mail the Lord is exposing the corruption in the Jewish and the RC church not to sling dirt but to save his people from following them, who are misrepresenting Him. They both claim to lead us to God but both do not. One, talks about leading to Yahweh and the other leading to Jesus Christ who is Yahweh come as man and it yet walks tangent to the instructions of Christ.

If both do walk tangent to the understanding of the scriptures given for the salvation of man, then how can both take is to our ultimate destination Heaven?

Today's message which was written 100 of years before the formation of the RC church, prophesied about the ways this institute will go into whoredom worst than its elder sister the Jewish church.

The Hebrew word translated here as 'Assyrians' is the word 'Ben' which is usually translated as 'son' or 'child' and comes from the root word 'to build'. Scripture talks of the lust of this institute to become great and this is seen in the fact that it got its leaders [Popes] being made kings. Even today the Popes may not be official kings but still official hold the title as one and have a crown with the words engraved 'Kings of Kings'. Pope Leo III was make Emperor on 25th Dec 800(AD) and other also added titles as King of Romans, King of Germany, King of Arles etc. But the Pope Richard in 1400 AD took the cake but making a 3 tier crown (which still exist in Vatican) which have words declare the Pope as King of Kings, having authority on hell, this world and also Heaven (over the Angels and I do not know if God too comes under the list).

The word 'captains' symbolizes the rulers or kings which talks about the compromise or fornication which this church did with the emperors and kings to rule over the people. And the term 'rulers clothed most gorgeously' points out that this church never made make Jesus Christ as the benchmark to follow, but other people who are accepted by this world as being perfect. This is the reason the saints (people whom they have made saints) and other characters from the Bible are seated on their throne but not Christ the Kings of Kings.

The term 'horseman riding upon horses' actually means here as the lust to spread out on the bases of prosperity or progress. History is written about the use of the sword and brutal man power this church used to spread Christianity to the world. They first kept a sword on the neck of the people and then made them Christians.

The term 'young men' is used towards the spiritual maturity of the leaders of this church. Even today the spiritual maturity of the leaders of this church is like young men - not mature. This is the reason they do things like idol worship and it never strikes them that they are worshiping other gods.

Lord, it has been since long time that this church has been misleading your people and leading them to destruction in your Name. Lord, your Word says the time is at hand that this institute is exposed and punished for the atrocities towards your holy people. Lord, we pray for the souls that are in this church that wisdom comes to them and we rebuke the spirit of blindness that covers their eyes and prevents them from seeing the Truth. May they come to the real King of Kings and glorify You...

13 Then I saw that she was defiled, that they took both one way,
14 And that she increased her whoredoms: for when she saw men pourtrayed upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans pourtrayed with vermilion,
15 Girded with girdles upon their loins, exceeding in dyed attire upon their heads, all of them princes to look to, after the manner of the Babylonians of Chaldea, the land of their nativity:
16 And as soon as she saw them with her eyes, she doted upon them, and sent messengers unto them into Chaldea.
17 And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their whoredom, and she was polluted with them, and her mind was alienated from them.
18 So she discovered her whoredoms, and discovered her nakedness: then my mind was alienated from her, like as my mind was alienated from her sister.
19 Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.
20 For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses.
21 Thus thou calledst to remembrance the lewdness of thy youth, in bruising thy teats by the Egyptians for the paps of thy youth.
22 Therefore, O Aholibah, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side;
23 The Babylonians, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them: all of them desirable young men, captains and rulers, great lords and renowned, all of them riding upon horses.
24 And they shall come against thee with chariots, wagons, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, which shall set against thee buckler and shield and helmet round about: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall judge thee according to their judgments. 25 And I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal furiously with thee: they shall take away thy nose and thine ears; and thy remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall take thy sons and thy daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire.
26 They shall also strip thee out of thy clothes, and take away thy fair jewels.
27 Thus will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy whoredom brought from the land of Egypt: so that thou shalt not lift up thine eyes unto them, nor remember Egypt any more.
