Prepare for The Day of the Lord is on hand
Zephaniah 1:7 -
Hold thy peace (silence) at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid (consecrated) his guests.
Today's message is especially for the people who are called to lead others. Those people who minister to the Lord's people, the Lord is telling you not to build your own understanding, but to follow that of the Lord. Do not mend things or aggravate the little ones of the Lord into going the wrong direction. When you were little the Lord handled you delicately so why this attitude unto others? Had the Lord judged you the same way and not been merciful towards you, would you have been where you are?
You are to imitate Christ whom you can understand, if you are not able to understand the Lord. Else the judgment towards you will be very harsh on the Day of Judgment.
[ Prayer Starter ]
Father God, I prayer for all the watchmen You have set over your people. Let them imitate the good shepherd whom You had made in flesh - Jesus Christ. Lord Jesus, You intercede for your associates who work for the business of your Father, let your Spirit guide them and let not their hearts be hardened. I ask this in your mighty Name, Amen.
[ Reference Scriptures ]
8 And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORDíS sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.
9 In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold, which fill their masters' houses with violence and deceit.
10 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills.
6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
