The LORD is God

Isaiah 41:4 - Who has performed and done it, Calling the generations from the beginning? 'I, the LORD, am the first; And with the last I am He.'"

Man has always tried to understand God. But in our foolish limited capacity we have been trying to understand the unlimited. God the Father and His Spirit existed before the existence of time. Even the Son was begotten - He existed in the Father. He was not created like us but was begotten - came from the Father (was part of the Father before He became an individual). The word LORD used here is 'Jehovah' which means 'the existing one'. This is not the Father speaking but the Son Himself. In the Bible - Old Testament 95% of the time the word 'Lord' refers to the Son or the Holy Spirit. The Son of God existed before creations, the Bible starts with the situation just before the human creation. It does not even touch the creation of the Angels. Our understanding is so limited that even understanding the Angels is beyond our capacity as for now, leave alone understanding God. All we can do before God is get down on our knees and be in awe of Him.

Whatever little is written in the Bible about God is to identify Him not to limit Him in our understanding.

Let us not try to understand God, but being in awe of Him let痴 just worship Him and knowing that He being beyond all measures loves us, is just incredible.

Lord God, You are beyond my understanding and beyond everything. Sorry for the times I tried to define You and limit You to my understanding. We are so fortunate to be loved by You, who are beyond all creation, I worship You.

John 20:27-28
27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others. (All rights are with God)
