Peace allows prosperity to come

Psalms 122;7,8 - Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

In today's world we can see the countries that are in peace and which do not have to deal with terrorisms and calamities, prosper very quickly.

The same with us, many of us do not prosper because of the lack of peace. It is not just peace in our Churches, in our houses, but also peace within us. You will find many scriptures saying something like - be still and you will see the glory of God.

Peace does not mean to accepted all the terms and compromise with the truth. Peace means to avoid confrontation as much as possible, awaiting the right moment when the confrontation does not become a confrontation. Jesus knew the truth but did not vomit everything in a day or two. He slowly revealed the secrets of the Kingdom of God and in such a way that those who it was for were not disturbed in heart.

Many Christians make peace with the world by compromising their faith and thus break the peace of God. And then many problems attack them but yet some think that it is a way of life and continue to suffer.

We should first pursue peace of God and then peace with man.

[ Prayer Starter ]

Father God, You are above all. Help us Lord to keep You first in our lives. Help us not to compromise on the truth and also give us the wisdom to avoid confrontation as much as possible, so that we may receive prosperity in every area of our lives.

This we ask in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Psalms 46:10
10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Mark 4:36-39
36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
