Prophesy and see it happen - give Him glory

Ezekiel 37:10 - So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

Just 2 days back I wrote about Damascus in which I spoke about a bomb blast/s happening in the city limits and after a few hours there did take place a great blast in Damascus. Some may think this was a coincident but that was the same with the Tsunami that hit Japan for the same day in the morning I wrote about earthquake. There are many other incidents or world events like these which may have not happened instantly on the same day but came to pass soon after they were written in my message. Do all these prophecies which I spoke make me a great person? No.

If one understands prophecy and 'word of knowledge' one would never be able to take any credit.

Prophesying means to speak what God has already declared in His Word. This may be by interpreting of scriptures, by understanding them or doing the same without having knowledge of the existence of scripture when the Lord reveals it directly.

Word of knowledge is mistaken by many as 'prophecy' through worldly it may be called. Word of knowledge is nothing but prompting of the Holy Spirit. It is similar to the later type of prophesying but here the matter is concerning the personal life of a person or a group of persons. It too may come in vision (hazy or tentative), or dreams (accurate and clear), or just a strong thought or desire.

In today's message Ezekiel was told by the Lord in the vision to speak life into the dead bones and they became a great army. When Ezekiel was told he did not repeat it like a parrot but had to vision the army in his mind as he spoke it. So prophesying is nothing put speaking what we see (as written or prompted by the Holy Spirit) about the coming of the Kingdom of God.

We do not see the glory of God because we do not prophesy and we do not prophesy because we do not see and we do not see because we lack vision.

I wrote part of this message yesterday before I went to Sunday Service. At the service the preacher was giving the same message about how people perish because they lack vision. He was saying ho0w people are like logs of wood that float on the sea called world, floating aimlessly just trying to live until their end comes. We as children of God are not called to be part of history but called to be history makers. We can only be history makers if we have vision, prophesy and be vessels for the Lord to bring it to pass.

Saul became Paul when God healed his sight. This was less an outer healing and more an inner healing of Paul. When Paul could see he did mighty work for God and became a vessel to bring to pass all that was written about the Kingdom of God for that time.

During that what was due for the Church was less than what is due during the present time and the church suffers because we lack people with vision. Let us pray for visionaries in our churches.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, we pray that people in the Church may have a transformation of their spirit like Saul became Paul by the healing of his sight. Lord we pray for more visionaries in the Church. That they may be instruments to bring to pass all that You have set for in our time and that we quicken the coming of Christ in glory...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
