It's the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed

Lamentations 3:19-22
19 Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.
20 My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me.
21 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.
22 It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

We have entered the time of great world calamities; these are times when we have the 4 horses of Revelation 6 roam among us.

The White Horse is the Word of God which came in the period 1400AD. Since 400AD the early Church restricted everyone from translating the New Testament and the official Vulgate translation in Latin was commissioned. From 600AD onwards the Bible was officially / unofficially available in only 6 languages worldwide. In 1229 it went to the extent of forbidding any person other than a priest to own a Bible. It was around 1400AD that the Bible was smuggled and distributed to people in various languages. Even before the revolution of the printing press started the Bible was printed using movable type and the first famous copy was by Johannes Gutenberg (about 1397-1468) and also people like Christophe Plantin 1500AD helped in making the Bible available to the masses. The Bible says this White Horse which brings in the King of Kings will roam the world for a thousand years and gradually keep building an army which overcomes and rules the world (this is not a political ruling).

After the white horse entered comes the red horse and the wars of the world. When the Word of God gets into us it starts to work in us. Like an antibiotic it shakes the world system and thus the red horse was the first of the line of horses. The red horse cause great conflicts worldwide which resulted in two world wars and countless wars between countries.

The third horse which is the black horse has been walking the face of the earth since sometime and the result of its walking among us can be experience by the food shortages and hike in food prices. This horse will result is great increase in food prices but like the other horses it too has been restricted in consuming the disciples of the Lord and His anointed ones.

What we are experiencing now is the time of the walking of the pale horse among us. This horse has been released since just a few years and like the other horses it too has been gathering momentum as it roams the face of the earth.

The Bible states the times of sorrow ends with the Day of the Lord, not Judgement Day but the day of the Lord's revenge, the day He deals with the false church and revenges the blood of His saints. Like a woman in labour these pains result in joy, a joy of the true Church of God wherein people truly have relation with God and authority in His Name. This is the ripped fig tree a period before the end days which the tree is cut.

Among all this happenings there is surely be a lot of rubbing, pushing, turning upside down for the people of God. Even then like Jeremiah wrote and is our message for today; we should bring to mind how mercifully the Lord dealt with His people in the Bible and have hope in Him. These are also the time of abundant grace, the grace we received through Jesus Christ therefore our hope multiplies and is assured in Him.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, your Word is working among your people building an army. As your army moves through this world giving your message of salvation the effects of it are experienced. The blessings are seen and also the rejections are manifested. Lord, your Word will accomplish what It has set off to do before It returns to You. You have instructed us and pre alerted us of the consequences of rejecting. Lord, strengthen us as we stand in your Word and face this world and overcome it so that your Name is lifted up...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Revelation 6:1-17
1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Matthew 24:4-14
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Revelation 19:11-16
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Matthew 24:32-37
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
