God knows

Acts 28:25 - And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,

In today's scripture we read a large number of people collected and persuaded Paul to teach them about Jesus. It is written Paul concentrated more about Jesus from the books of Moses and the books of the Prophets. A few among them digested some of the matter and others did not, but when people started discussing between them all agreed to disagree and thus it took a thousand years for man to know Jesus better, even though there was a man called Paul who did and who tried to explain to others. And Paul rightly quoted a scripture from Isaiah.

Acts 28:26-28
26 Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:
27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

The day when the Lord had revealed me yesterday's message I was shocked at the level of deceit the Beast has the Church in. I was amazed the Beast did not spare even the elect, people led by the Spirit of God. But I realized God had written the Beast would do that for that period of time.

My question to the Lord was did not anyone read these scriptures? Did not they meditate on them?

The words of Isaiah came to my mind too 'they will hear and shall not understand, they will see and not perceive'. At one time I tried to follow breaking of Bread at a congregation according to scriptures and I know what happened that day, not one man was left unexposed. People who received and those who did not receive by rejecting it. All the hidden in them came out and I remember the instructions of Paul not to receive the Body of Christ in an unworthy manner. Those who thoroughly humbled themselves were lifted up and those who were deceiving were taken away by wolves like Judas was taken by Satan at the supper table of the Lord.

When I was told to send the message I was worried about the reciprocations the mail would have. After sending it, the lukewarm I received had me asking the Lord why, and He gave this message today.

The days the Lord had opened the book of Moses to me and explained the scriptures to me about Jesus in them, I remember those days for almost 2 to 3 month the Lord used to wake me up 3am in the mornings. When each scripture was explained to me I used to literally sit and cry in awe of Who God is, how wonderful He is and His love for us. I wondered why man does not know these things but then I realized there are people like Paul among us who know God much better but when they speak no one listens to them. People like to hear things they know or things they like to know. Look at the preacher who are famous today, they teach popular topics which entice human ears.

Each one of us has many illegal constructions in our spiritual life and we do not want to bring them down for fear we will change. The words that come out of our mouths mostly do not match the words our hearts speak. We praise God and preach Him but in our lives it is different, we are scared to die in the flesh.

Unless our fleshy inner-man does not die our spirit man will not fully be in charge and we will not be fully led by the Spirit of God. It is not that these words are only for you, they are also for me, for in some areas of my life I too struggle to be free from the hold of our fleshy inner (old) man.

Let us daily nail every part of our sinful inner man to death so that we can be more and more people of light, people of spirit and Sons of God.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, we pray your mercy and grace be abundant on your people. Lord, these are days where You are doing great and wonderful things among your people. Not only You are sending strong spirit men to your people but You also yourself have been actively reaching out. Lord open the eyes and ears of your people that they may hear and eye, that they may die to the flesh and be born again in spirit...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Acts 28:23-31
23 And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.
24 And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.
25 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,
26 Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:
27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
28 Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.
29 And when he had said these words, the Jews departed, and had great reasoning among themselves.
30 And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him,
31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

1 Corinthians 5:6-8
6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

1 Corinthians 11:23-30
23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

Romans 6:3-13
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
