The ways of the serpent

Psalms 55:21,22 - The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords. Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

In Genesis Satan is referred as a snake not because he is a snake but his ways are like that of a snake - deceiving. Deceit is one of the greatest tools used by Satan to test the faith and then bring a person to ruin.

People who operate in the flesh become instruments for the ways of Satan. To fight them you do not need to get physical nor keep chanting scriptures. What one need to do is stand in the gap, the gap of righteousness. The scriptures says the righteous will never be let down, God takes care of them.

In business Satan's tool of deceit is very common. Just a few days back someone from a company my organization works with, was boasting about how he got an upper hand over someone else by using this tool as tit for tat. I was a little concern about him using this tool also with us, but I trusted God in that.

Just a day latter even before what was in his heart against us would come out; the Lord had already laid forth a trap for him. In a vision the Lord showed me details of what was to unfold (this being the second time the Lord showed complex technology is very simple ways which will amaze great minds) and it has been past 4 days and yet the person has not been able to put his head out of what he has got in.

The Lord is God and we do not need to get worried we just need to stand in the gap of righteousness and He will show us His glory. Even a pinch of it is enough for all our problems put together.
