How many Moses, Abraham, Elisha, David are there in the house?

Numbers 11:29p
...Oh, that all the LORD'S people were prophets and that the LORD would put His Spirit upon them!

In the Old Testament all Men and Women of God were called prophets (Hebrew 'nabiy' - spokesmen), it was only after Jesus, the true Church and callings were revealed. Also in the Old Testament the Spirit of the Lord was only on a select few, these were the great patriarchs. The Word of God says whoever believes in Jesus receives the promise of the Holy Spirit. Therefore all have the potential to become like the great patriarchs - Men and Women of God.

The Lord also says in the Bible that, in the later days the Lord will pour out His Spirit on all man. Thus, there should be many more numbers of patriarchs than before, but are there?

Should not we ask ourselves how many Moses, Abraham, Elisha, David etc..., are there around us? Why are we too not one of them? Seeing them the fear of the Lord used to come upon the people. Won’t we want the fear of the Lord on all mankind so that the glory of God will come on earth? Let's ask ourselves what is holding us back from becoming like the great patriarchs.

[ Prayer Starter ]

Father God, make me and mold me like the patriarchs in the Old-Testament. Use me like You used them to reach out to your people. Make many of the people today who have dedicated themselves to You, also like them. That we may bring glory to You. I ask this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
