Bread of Life and Water of Life, eat and drink of Him

John 6:35 - And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

I have shared with you before how the candlestick which was kept in the Holy place of the Tabernacle represented the Holy Spirit.

In today's scripture Jesus says I am the bread of life.

In the Tabernacle along with the candlestick and the golden altar on which incense were kept, was also kept a table set with shewbread. The shewbread were twelve loafs made of fine flour and was considered most holy. Only the priest and his sons could eat it.

Jesus represented the showbread which was kept before the Ark of Covenant. If one understands the Ark of Covenant one will understand the purpose of God. In the Tabernacle there use to be a veil between the Ark which was in the Holy of Holies and the Holy place where the candlestick, golden altar with incense and the showbread where kept.

By the sacrifice of Jesus and the Spirit of God given unto man, the purpose of God was revealed to man; therefore the veil which covered the Holy of Holies was torn.

To serve the purpose of God one needs the Spirit of God, true worship of God (the golden altar on which the incense were burnt) and Jesus Christ. Without any one of these we will never achieve the purpose of God and therefore will always lack in life.

The words which Jesus spoke is living water, anyone who drinks it (believes it) will never go thirsty.

Therefore to never hunger or be thirsty we need to concentrate ourselves and have the shewbread and drink every word that came out of the mouth of Jesus with our focus always on the purpose of God.

8 Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.

13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

John 6:36-40
36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
