Let there be Light

Genesis 1:3 - And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

In science darkness is measured as absence of light, cool is measured as absence of heat. We take into facture that light and heat exist. What I am about to say might shake a few people's senses for we have been thought from childhood about the creation of the world. There was darkness and God said let there be light and there was light.

We all know that God is light, where God exist there can not be darkness.

1 John 1:5a This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, ..

God exist before all things, and it is not that God existed in darkness before He created the world. You need to understand the Bible, which is called the 'Book of Instructions' is all about the salvation of man. It only talks of all things, directly and indirectly pertaining to man and his salvation. Genesis talks about the creation of the world in which man was made and the last book Revelation concludes with man receiving his salvation.

If you understand this then you will understand scriptures like Isaiah 45:7

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

You will also understand Genesis

Genesis 1:1-2
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth (Hebrew Erret which also means world, nations).
2 And the earth (Hebrew Erret ) was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep (Hebrew t@howm which also means deep places). And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

God created the Angels and the Heavens long before and Satan too was created by God. After Satan and part of the Angels revolted against the light of God, darkness came into existence. God did not create darkness, but God created the one who created darkness. God knew before He created Satan what Satan would do, therefore God created mere man to overcome the powerful Satan via Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

God know the ending and so also does Satan knows his defeat, for it is also written. Those who will victor over Satan with Christ will be blessed with all the wonderful things which Satan and his Angels enjoyed before they revolted in the Kingdom of God.

Isaiah 45:3
3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

But do you know where you will stand at the end? Will it be in the Light or where Light is obstructed? Will you enjoy all the treasures of the Kingdom of Heaven which no human eye can perceive?

You can only do so when you follow the Lord (Holy Spirit).

Isaiah 45:2
2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

Lord, You are Awesome, You ways are beyond all understand and they are wonderful. You have great plans for man and I thank You for that. Lead me Lord that I may exist forever in your light. That I may enjoy the glorious things You have made available for me as your salvation for mankind. I pray this in Jesus' Name, Amen.
