No audience in Christianity

Luke 8:39 - Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.

Today again the Lord is continually telling is to go out and testify our God and the grace of God through Jesus Christ unto the people around us.

People have a concept that by being a Christian they can settle down in life and enjoy the fruit of what the Lord has done for us.

Believing in Jesus Christ and becoming a follower of Him required us to take His CROSS and follow Him. It does mean we need to suffer like Him. He did not say carry my crucifix but the word Cross in Greek means Stance or purpose. We need to carry forward the purpose of Jesus to save mankind. He has opened the closed doors and given us His Spirit Who helps us through the door. We being followers of Jesus are called to help others also to see this open door and this we can do by sharing our testimony.

Being a Christian does not give a person a privilege to be in the audience but calls a person to part of the center stage activity.

So do not sit and call yourself a Christian but get up and get going and be a Christian by testifying Christ not only by words but also letting people see Christ in you. It is not the work of people who stand on stages and preach or people like me who send mails or SMS to people about Christ but of every person who believes in Jesus Christ. He is not a trademark but a Mark of start of our trade (work in Him).

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, there are many who call themselves Christians but are not. They are selfish and concern only of saving themselves but are not fully believing in You or your purpose for mankind. To be your disciple we need to follow You and all that You have instructed us. The time of harvest is at hand and You too are actively working on the hearts of man so that they may know You and come to You. Awake up your people and let your glory be seen among them.

This we declare in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[ Reference Scripturesr ]
Matthew 4:18-20
18 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.
19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
20 And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.

Mark 8:34-38
34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Mark 10:21
21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

Acts 1:8
8 "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
