The Lord will protect you even from small dangers

Psalms 121:3 - He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

You must be aware of the terror that is happening in South Mumbai. I live in Mumbai and on the 26th evening I was coming back from work, on my way a client called me to visit his house which is a few meters away from Cafe Leopold where the terrorist started the firing. I left his house just a few minutes before the shooting took place. I stay nearby to that place, away from the cafe and walked that day to my house. I would not be surprised if the firing actually took place behind me for when I reached home my family members heard the gun shots and thought those were fire crackers since India were winning the ODI cricket match against England. Only when I switched to the news channel I came to know what really happened. Had I been a few minutes late I would have been in the thick of the shooting. If it was not the shooting at the cafe it could have been the grenades and shooting at the Nariman house, for I live in the center of Taj hotel and these two places.

I am sharing this with you to encourage you to always remember that when you know who you are in the Lord, you can always be assured that you are safe from all dangers. Just a few days back (24-11-08) the same Psalms was given to us and today by the same Psalms the Lord is assuring us his protection.

Psalms 91:2-14
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
