The Lord coverest Himself with light

Psalm 104:2 - Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

People usually take the scripture Genesis 1:3 very literally without understanding. Yes it is true that, the creation in which we live in and of which details are given as to how it came into existence in Genesis was formed from light. This is also proven in science that all matter came into form from light partials like quarks, neutrons, protons etc. (the Big Bang theory and NASA space probe pictures). The other parts of the process of creation also are now proven by many scientists and archeologists as according to the Bible. The theory of Evolution has been proven wrong and the originator of the theory Charles Darwin himself regretted this in his old age after the gospel was given to him by one Lady Hope, when he was unwell. He became a Christian before his death. A summer house in Darwin's garden used to house evangelistic meetings as per reports even after 70 years of his death.

Not going too much into this debatable topic, what I am surprised that (like today I heard from a Pastor at the Sunday service) that Jesus Christ, Who is also called The Light came into existence by the Spoken Word!

What I want to ask, if Light came into existence only when God spoke the words, then what was God dwelling in before that? Was God in darkness since ancient? If God Himself is light then how can there be darkness around Him.

Light as we know or darkness as we know is like time, existence only in our creation. Like solar time cease to exist outside the solar system so also light or time cease to exist outside our creation. The light which is associated with Heaven is the plans of God. Like life on earth exists due to light and is dependent on light, so also Heavens exist due to God's plans and everything works according to God's plans. The plans of God are just not ordinary plans but are so awesome and mysterious plans that even the Angels who are such superior beings have their eyes ever focused to see how God manages to fulfill them. God's wisdom is beyond the understanding of any being but knowing the Lord we know that His plans are all good. This He also confirms to us in His Word.

The Heavens are like a curtain to man, but when we understand the Heavens the cease to totally block the view and give us a peep into Who God is and also get to see His glory.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord God, You made us mere beings in the flesh. Although we were made in your image sin made us lower than the worms, but Lord, your plan for us did not change. You allowed us to fall so that by the testimony of Christ in us even the Angels are lifted up unto your glorious New Body the New Temple. Lord, even how hard things may be for us or our situation may seem, we trust in You and fear not, for we know You are covered with great plans for our good and everything that You plan You fulfill...

We declare this into our lives in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
