It's all about Light

Isaiah 60:20 - Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

Everything about God is Light. God is light and He was before creation and He created this world because His light was obstructed (the definition of darkness is not allowing light in). Therefore was created two forces the Angels of God who were for light and the evil spirits (fallen angels) who were against light and are termed as angels of darkness.

God (Godhead) created creation that it would prosper like light does. In space light travels and travels unless it is obstructed.

It is very interesting to know that light particles from Big Bang passed earth just in time when man was developed enough to capture it using modern equipment (it is scientifically proven that creation is inline with the Bible and also the Big Bang is inline with the Bible). By this data man could understand the stages of creation (atomic physics) and this data proved the Word.

The Spirit of God is also symbolized as Light (spectrum of light - rainbow) and the Son of God who became man also called Himself as light of the world. It was through Him that we received Light (the Spirit of God).

The Word of God reveals God, Who is Light and therefore is light unto us. The instructions of God via the Word or directly (which will still be inline to the Word for light from one source never crosses each other) is also light unto us.

When we did not know God we were called children of darkness and now that we have come into knowing Him, we are called children of light.

The Lord is telling us that this light which we have received no darkness is dark enough to stop it. The only way darkness can persist is if the Source of Light takes the Light away. And by today's Word the Lord assures us this He will not do. So do not even imagine our sins and our sinful nature is greater than the Light we have received by believing in Jesus Christ.

Christianity is basically all about distributing Light and letting Light to work in us and through us.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord Jesus Christ, the world was in darkness and You became the permanent light for the world. It was through You that we too received this permanent Light. O Holy Spirit shine in us and let the Light in us spread to all God's people so that they return to the Father at the end of creation...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[ Reference Scriptures ]

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Genesis 9:11-16
11 And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.
12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

John 1:1-5
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

John 9:4-5
4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

John 12:46

John 8:12
12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

John 1:6-10
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

John 3:17-21
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Matthew 6:23
23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

Revelation 10:1-7
1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
