Casting and receiving

Psalms 55:22 - Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer (bring) the righteous to be moved (fall).

Previously I have written on the same scripture, today as I received this scripture I wanted to share something new about it. So I will go into the background of the depth, feelings, attitude etc. connected with the scripture. These properties can be understood with the grammar of the same. Without getting into the technicalities I will just give you the brief.

The word 'cast' tells us - we need to cast in a casual way. It means God does not expect us to surrender or handover everything over night. We need to make a gradual everyday effort taking at least one problem at a time, towards unloading it unto the Lord.

The word 'sustain' tells us - we should not expect total complete 100percent solution to all problems. Anybody telling you that if you come to the Lord you will not have, or experience, or encounter any problems is a liar or does not know the scriptures. In the Bible there are many, many problems and calamities prophesied and they can not be erased. The Bible says if you are in the Lord, even when the problems encounter you, the Lord will take you over the problems and you will not be affected much by it. The attitude of the Lord towards doing this is going to be intensive and very proactive. The Lord also commits solutions to most of our problems but not all; for there may be one, two or some areas which will become like thorns and we need to overcome them. Like scriptures say unless we become overcomers we will not have a share in the great partaking of the Lord's salvation.

The word 'suffer' or 'bring' tells us - the receiving of the solution may be slowly or in a casual manner and may not even come to notice. Here too a 100 percent, complete, blanket solution covering all problems is not committed, it is almost all, may be even 99.999 percent. Since we still live in this weak tent called human flesh with wooden poles called human mind, 100 percent is not possible.

The word 'moved' or 'fall' tells us - unlike the previous words here a complete 100 percent commitment is given. Here a guaranty of the output or result is assured. Which means if we pursue righteousness; come what may, we will never fall. Like the scripture says in Psalms 34:19 - 'many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all'. Here ALL means ALL.

[ Prayer Starter ]

Father God, You are merciful, gentle and full of wisdom. You are true to every Word You have spoken. Lord guide me and help me to pursue and receive the promise in the best and easiest way as given in the scripture. I ask this in Jesus' Name, Amen.
