International unrest

Habakkuk 1:6 - For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwelling places that are not theirs.


When I got this message as usual I thought it would be a spiritual message but then I felt in my spirit it is to do with our current political situation.

We know there exist a very volatile political situation right now in east Europe with regards to Ukraine. Russia is been accused of trying to take over the country and the western countries are trying to prevent it.

I fell in today's message the Lord is telling us that Russia will indeed take over either part or the whole of this country. The main issue behind this whole thing is power games, both the Russians and the western countries are trying to flex their international powers and thus have caused this country to pay a great price of loss of freedom.

We can see this message in a spiritual way. When we are not in the Lord, then the Lord can cause worldly power to have dominance over us and over our freedom. We land up becoming victims, bait and prey to their power games.

Lord You warn of situations that will affect us and our livelihood like You did in the times of Jeremiah, but like then and now people fail to give ear to your warnings. We pray Lord, You do not further harden the hearts of your people like You did then. That the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be abundant on your people and they do not be victims of vanity...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
