There is no audience here

Obadiah 1:11-13
11 On the day that you stood aloof, on the day that strangers carried off his wealth, and foreigners entered his gates and cast lots for Jerusalem, you were like one of them.
12 But you should not have gloated over the day of your brother in the day of his misfortune; you should not have rejoiced over the people of Judah in the day of their ruin; you should not have boasted in the day of distress.
13 You should not have entered the gate of my people in the day of his calamity; you should not have gloated over his disaster in the day of his calamity; you should not have looted his goods in the day of his calamity.

In the Bible the Lord prophesied certain distress moments in the lives of certain people. At these moments of distress the Lord tells us there is no audience. We are in it either way, party to the looters or the savers, if not among the victims.
Understand in the Bible you will read that many a times the Lord has got angry with his people and has delivered them unto their enemies because they refuse to abide by his Instructions. Even in his anger his love remained with his people and in his mercy later after He delivers them, He has punished the enemies who persecuted his people.

In today's message these people who are the victims are getting justly what's coming to them, yet the Lord tells us we should not mock at them nor stand apart and be audience. The audiences are directly or indirectly partly with the perpetrators. And like I explained before all the perpetrators of wrong towards God's people will experience his anger.

In the Word of God every important event in the spirit world is already given well in advance, so the Lord expects us to alert his people before hand and save them from the coming wraths.

In the Bible and also in visions which the Lord gives unto his people, He symbolizes his wrath as a whirlwind / tornado. People who do climate research / atmospheric study will be able to easy tell you by looking at the weather if it is building up to turn into a tornado. By instruments they will also be able to tell you in which direction it is heading to and at what speed.

Think if your children (even if they fought with you and separated from you) are staying in the path of this tornado and the scientist does not call them in advance to direct them to escape it or to prepare them to face the coming tornado, and just sits back to watch the disaster or laughs at them. Will you not get angry with that scientist and take him to task? Your anger against your children will not overcome your love for them, as their parent.

Our God does get angry but his anger does not out live his love. It is due to his love and mercy that He instructs us before hand of the disasters coming on his people. We, who are his messengers should also project God's love and either save his people (as many as possible) from the disaster or prepare them to face it and survive.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, we are made in your image, so help us think, act and react in the way You do. You do get angry when we disobey You. But in your love for us, You have send your messengers to save your people. Lord we prayer for your messengers that they take courage and responsibility of their duty...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Obadiah 1:11-14
11 On the day that you stood aloof, on the day that strangers carried off his wealth, and foreigners entered his gates and cast lots for Jerusalem, you were like one of them.
12 But you should not have gloated over the day of your brother in the day of his misfortune; you should not have rejoiced over the people of Judah in the day of their ruin; you should not have boasted in the day of distress.
13 You should not have entered the gate of my people in the day of his calamity; you should not have gloated over his disaster in the day of his calamity; you should not have looted his goods in the day of his calamity.
14 You should not have stood at the parting of the ways to cut off his fugitives; you should not have delivered up his survivors in the day of distress.
15 For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.

2 Kings 24:1-4
1 In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him.
2 And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servants the prophets.
3 Surely at the commandment of the LORD came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;
4 And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the LORD would not pardon.

Jeremiah 27:4-9
4 And command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters;
5 I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.
6 And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.
7 And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him.
8 And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.
9 Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:

Jeremiah 28:12-17
12 Then the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the prophet, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,
13 Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron.
14 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.
15 Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.
16 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD.
17 So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.
