Lord wants a Spouse from Lebanon

Songs of Solomon 4:8 - Come with me from Lebanon, my spouse, with me from Lebanon: look from the top of Amana, from the top of Shenir and Hermon, from the lions' dens, from the mountains of the leopards.

Solomon was not a Prophet, he was a Man of God who had the calling of a Teacher therefore he gave great disclosure of scriptures, of the Kingdom of God.

The book Songs of Solomon really tests the capability of a person at the fourth stage of Bibles study. If the person does not have a clear understanding of scriptures, a strong foundation by the first 3 stages of scriptures study (Commentary, Cross Reference & Word Study) then one would be thinking Songs of Solomon as a love letter by a man to his wife whom he loved.

Muslims call Songs of Solomon a book of porn. When a Muslim asks me a question from this book I have no other option but to take him on a joy ride so that he forgets the question, because if he had a little intelligence (wisdom) to understand even 1 scripture of this book then he would not have been a Muslim in the first place.

Firstly the names in today's message are not names of places but adjectives or symbolic words. So let us understand the Hebrew words.

Lebanon - means whiteness symbolizes holiness
Amana - means support symbolizes unity
Shenir - means snow mountain symbolizes grace
Lion - symbolizes righteousness
Leopard - comes from the word meaning pure symbolizes sanctified / purified

In today's message the Lord is telling us about His Bride. He is telling us He desires a holy Bride covered with a gown of holiness and this gown can come only when she goes over these 4 processes.

To be His Bride covered with holiness we need to be united as one as one family, caring supporting each other. We need to totally under His grace. We should realize that by ourselves we cannot but by Him we can all things. That does not mean grace to do whatever we desire but all that He desires that too by Him only. He also says we need to be a righteous people keeping His Commandments; not only the 10 Commandments but every commandment or instruction that the Lord speaks unto us, for not the Law is written in our hearts. But to keep them is near to impossible therefore we need to go over the last point which is sanctification. Jesus by His sacrifice sanctified us but that does not mean we are free from sin. Jesus by His sacrifice made it possible to put us on the track to be free from sin. He washed us from all our sins and gave us His Spirit who would help us to overcome our sin nature by knowledge of the Truth, so as to be truly free of sin. Therefore we are called to forgive each other of our sins and encourage each other not to sin, so let us be the beautiful Bride whom the Lord desires by going over the four processes.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord, You put us in this battle to overcome darkness but You did not forsake us. You made a way for us to overcome. You came as man and gave us your Spirit and thus became the way. Lord, in Heaven You are covered with light not the light that comes from destruction of matter but a glorious light that comes from building, for all your plans are good and for betterment. Our marriage in Heaven with You is not like the worldly marriages but means we would become one with You as part of You and You Lord are Holy God for all proclaim your Name as Holy, Holy, Holy. Lord, we pray You take us through these four processes and prepare us as your Bride covered with holiness...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Revelation 21:2-5
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said to me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
