Where is the body of Jesus?

Luke 24:22,23 - Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulcher [tomb]; And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.

Jesus said He fulfilled all that was written in Moses and that Moses wrote about Him.

When one really starts understanding the shadow of Jesus in the Torah, we will see Jesus fulfilled in Him every sacrifice required to heal his people.

Just last Sunday at the service as people were worshiping and witnessing the Word, the Lord opened my mind to the incidents of the two women who were party to preparing Jesus as a sacrifice. They both washed the feet of Jesus, one with spikenard (incense/perfume) and the other with tears.

In the book of Moses these two were very important part of the sacrifice. You will agree with the incense but about tears you will say 'where is it written?'

If you read in the books of Moses the Lord instructed that slat be used with the sacrifice and if one understands the constituents of tears is water and salt. Thus one will realize why God designed our eyes to release salt water when we are overflowing with emotions. Thus the woman had fulfilled the requirement of scriptures in Jesus. Similar was the reason of the mad man leaving behind a linen cloth, the soldiers crowning him with a crown of thorns and slapping him, Jesus being wiped on the back, the need of water coming out from his side when pierced, Jesus being hung by his hands and feet, not letting Mary of Magdalene to touch Him, his walking in the desert after resurrection etc...

Coming to today's scripture, there is one big question which needs to be understood - what happened to the physical body of Jesus. After Jesus died and resurrected his body which was in the tomb was missing. I had explained that resurrection has nothing to do with our physical bodies. Yet we see Jesus' body was missing.

As every scripture of Moses was fulfilled in Jesus the ones pertaining to his physical body also needed to be fulfilled. According to the books of Moses some sacrifices required to be burnt. If one takes a look at the shroud which was used to wrap the body of Jesus shows a negative image. This happens due to intense rays which emit from an object. These rays also come from an object burnt at very, very high temperature like in nuclear reaction (if one understands molecular physics one will understand this).

If we deny Jesus' body was burnt then He fails to fulfill all righteousness and we stand to lose our change to enter Heaven. We need to understand Jesus by his coming as man and his sacrifice won for us the 3 things which Adam lost in the Garden of Eden, which were righteousness, truth and holiness. These 3 fruit(s) of the Holy Spirit are those we receive from Jesus by believing and abiding in Him, the rest 9 are those which His Spirit develops in us when we are baptized in the Holy Spirit. Unless we do not have the 12 fruit(s) of the Holy Spirit, man will not be able to enter Heaven.

[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord Jesus, without You there was no hope for man to come again in the presence of God. It was You Who earned for us the things we lost. You made available your Spirit to help us build us so as to complete your purpose in us and our purpose in You. We pray Lord You open our minds that we see the Truth and face it...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
