The three categories of officials of the Lord's vineyard

Jeremiah 1:5 - Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

As I started working in the vineyard of the Lord I observed different kinds of people with varying levels of ability and anointing. I found some of them use to eat, drink and breathe the Word of God and the work of the Lord. But others had a lethargic attitude (in spirit) of working in the Lord's vineyard.

When the Lord started teaching me the various callings I started asking who is who in the Body of Christ. But these few lethargic workers (some in the fore front at organizing) I just could not place.

Like there was is one gentleman in a ministry of which I was a part of long before, who tried to do God's work in worldly ways. He always came with worldly ideas and solutions while the work in the Lord's vineyard is more spiritual. People would get healed and blessed when he prayed over them and was as good as others. He was a doctor and very intelligent and was like a machine gun with scriptures. But I would not just place him in the Body of Christ. In confusion as to his place I asked the Lord to explain to me, and I was given the scripture Matthew 19:12.

The scripture talks about three types of workers (officials - holding position) in the Lord's vineyard:

     1) Whom the Lord has chosen even before they knew the Lord. Even before they were born the Lord had selected them and anointed them. In the Bible most of the patriarchs are of this category.

     2) Those who repented or changed their hearts and the Lord selected them. This category is not less than the first category but they do not have a specific mission like the first. The difference would be like between Aaron and Moses.

     3) This third category was one which I was surprised with. They are the ones who have made themselves leaders in the Lord's vineyard. They are not really bad people, but they operate more worldly than spiritually. They are the ones whom we need to keep an eye on.

God allows all three to work in His vineyard and gives them all the opportunity to harvest as much they can for the Kingdom of God.

[ Prayer Starter ]

Father God, You are almighty God. Your wisdom has no bounds. You know us even before we came in body in this world. You chose us to know You and have given us all the opportunity to work in your vineyard and reap for your Heavenly Kingdom. Lord whatever category we may be, help us to be led by your Spirit and no loose unto this world...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Matthew 19:12
12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
