Married and prayers are not getting answered?

Malachi 2:14
You cry out, "Why doesn't the Lord accept my worship?" I'll tell you why! Because the Lord witnessed the vows you and your wife made when you were young. But you have been unfaithful to her, though she remained your faithful partner, the wife of your marriage vows.

People complain about their adverse circumstances when they had only themselves to blame. They often try to avoid guilty feelings by shifting the blame. But this doesn't solve the problem. When you want to solve the problems, look first at yourself. If you change your attitude or behavior, would the problem be solved? Solve your inner problem and God will solve all your other problems.

You, yourself are a Church.
You with your wife / husband and children are a Church.
You with your family and other believing families as a congregation are a Church.

So love God in yourself, your family and your neighbors and then the glory of God will be upon you.

Marriage is like an organization where the wife has 24% holding, husband 25% and God 51% holdings. If you cannot sort your problem among yourselves, go to the major share holder and He will surely sort it out for you.

[ Prayer for the Day ]

Heavenly Father, we are so grateful for Your Word. Help us to take a look at ourselves first, before we place blame on others. May we take responsibility for our own actions, behaviors and of our relationships here on earth. Father, help us to be more and more like Jesus everyday! And less and less like ourselves. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Malachi 2:13,14 [RSV]
13 And this again you do. You cover the LORD's altar with tears, with weeping and groaning because he no longer regards the offering or accepts it with favor at your hand.
14 You ask, "Why does he not?" Because the LORD was witness to the covenant between you and the wife of your youth, to whom you have been faithless, though she is your companion and your wife by covenant.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
