Mark 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
Believing in the Lord Jesus Christ is just the first part of our journey to Heaven. It is essential but not the only criterion. We are called to be transformed into the one we believe in; that means we need to live a life that exemplifies Him. Also important is that we need to help others too to enter Heaven; thus, we need to witness Him, not just in words but also by our lives.
Today’s scripture is crystal clear: if we do not witness the Lord Jesus Christ, He will not witness us before the Heavenly Angels; in other words, we will not enter Heaven.
Ministry, witnessing, pastoring, etc. is not an option for every Christian but a necessity. So every Christian is supposed to be a minister, evangelist, or Pastor; in other words, a Kingdom Worker.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are Almighty God. You, Lord, humbled Yourself and became us so that we would be lifted up and become like You. We pray, Lord, that we understand that although salvation is a personal choice, it is a united mission, so we have to work as a body…
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
